Ulama Bondowoso Sambut Positif Naiknya Kepercayaan Publik Terhadap Polri
KH A Nawawi Maksum. SURABAYA, Jatim Today – Ulama Bondowoso menyambut positif hasil survei Lembaga Indikator Politik Indonesia (LIPI) yang menunjukkan tren kepercayaan publik terhadap Polri meningkat.
Sambutan positif itu datang dari KH A Nawawi Maksum selaku Pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Nurut Taqwa di Kabupaten Bondowoso, Jawa Timur.
Ia berharap, kenaikan signifikan kepercayaan publik terhadap Polri menjadi 73,2 persen bisa dijadikan pelecut semangat seluruh anggota kepolisian semakin baik dalam melayani dan mengayomi masyarakat.
“Di tahun 2014 tingkat kepercayaan publik ke Polri hanya 57 persen. Sedangkan tahun ini melejit pada 73,2 persen, kami menyambut baik peningkatan ini,” ujar ulama yang biasa disapa Gus Nawawi tersebut, Senin (1/5/2023).
Dirinya mengatakan, survei LIPI menunjukkan bahwa kerja keras pimpinan Polri untuk mengembalikan nama besar institusinya dengan menghadirkan keadilan kala menangani setiap masalah yang mendera institusi tersebut telah membuahkan hasil.
Terbaru kata dia, kinerja petugas kepolisian dalam menjaga kelancaran arus mudik maupun balik Lebaran 2023 menjadi salah satu upaya mengembalikan citra baik Polri.
Oleh karena itu, ia pun menyampaikan apresiasi setinggi-tingginya atas kinerja Korps Bhayangkara.
“Terima kasih kami sampaikan kepada jajaran kepolisian yang bekerja keras menjaga kelancaran arus mudik dan balik Lebaran tahun ini. Sehingga masyarakat bisa pulang ke kampung halaman dengan aman dan berkesan,” lanjutnya.
Dirinya menambahkan, dalam segi keamanan. Proses mudik dan balik Lebaran tahun 2023 ini lebih terasa nyaman. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan rendahnya tingkat kecelakaan lalu lintas serta tindak kriminalitas jalanan yang nyaris tak terjadi.
“Dengan kesiapan petugas kepolisian, masyarakat bisa melaksanakan mudik ke kampung halaman dengan penuh suka cita,” tutupnya.
Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya, survei LIPI digelar pada 11-17 April 2023 terhadap 1.220 responden. Survei dilakukan dengan cara wawancara tatap muka oleh pewawancara yang terlatih.
Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan metode multistage random sampling. Adapun margin of error survei +/- 2,9 persen dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95 persen.
